Hamilton Goes Global: Breaker Joins Cast, “Montego Glover Ready to Take on Chicago’s Stage”

Daniel Breaker, a seasoned Broadway actor, is set to join the Broadway cast of Hamilton as Aaron Burr starting on August 29th. Breaker has been playing the same role in Chicago since April 11th, and his final performance there will be on August 20th. He will replace Brandon Victor Dixon, who is leaving the Broadway cast to star in “The Red Letter Plays.” He will give his final Hamilton performance on August 13th. Broadway company member Gregory Treco will replace Breaker in Chicago on September 8th.

Hamilton Goes Global Breaker Joins Cast

Montego Glover, a famous stage actor, will join the Chicago company of Hamilton in the role of Angelica Schuyler in early September, marking her Hamilton debut. Karen Olivo will play her final performance as Angelica in Chicago’s Hamilton on August 6th.

Breaker received a Tony Award nomination for his role in the musical Passing Strange. He has also appeared in other Broadway productions, such as The Book of Mormon, The Performers, Shrek, Cymbeline, and Well.

Glover’s performance in Memphis earned her a Tony Award nomination. Additionally, she appeared in Les Misérables on Broadway, It Shoulda Been You, and The Color Purple.
